Professional category of the Journal: scientific professional journal "Pedagogical Education: Theory and Practice. Psychology. Pedagogy" is included in the list of scientific professional publications of Ukraine (Category "B"), where the results of dissertations for the degree of the Doctor of Science and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in specialties: 011 - "Educational, pedagogical sciences"; 012 - "Preschool education"; 013 - "Primary education"; 015 - "Vocational education (by specializations)" can be published (Approved by the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine №886 of 02.07.2020).
The publication is aimed at disseminating research in the following areas:

- history of domestic and foreign pedagogical ideas;
- pedagogical comparative studies;

Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University was established on December 26, 2023 by the merger of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University and Municipal Higher Education Institution “Kyiv Academy of Arts” and is their successor (based on the decision of the Kyiv City Council of 23.06.2022 No. 4754/4795).
