“HEART PEDAGOGY”: INTRODUCTION OF VASYL SUKHOMLYNSKYI’S PEDAGOGICAL IDEAS TO PRACTICE OF EDUCATIONAL PROCESS OF HIGHER EDUCATION ESTABLISHMENT
Abstract
The article highlights the information features of the concept of “heart pedagogy” as an effective way
to establish emotional contact in the process of pedagogical interaction; tasks and goals of integration
of Vasyl Sukhomlynskyi’s ideas are defined in the practice of the educational process of university in the format
of “heart pedagogy”; the ways of their introduction as the basis of the quality of education in the conditions
of the development of the information society are outlined; the works of national and foreign scientists,
linguodidacts, teachers-practitioners, devoted to the study of pedagogical heritage of an outstanding teacher
are analysed.
Nowadays, when the development of information technology is gaining momentum, the format
of traditional pedagogy has changed the format of information pedagogy, it is worth remembering that
the teacher himself puts into the soul of each child. When preparing specialists of the high-level educational
sector, teachers of higher education institutions of pedagogical specialties should establish emotional
contact with each student, and also teach future educators. To this end, in our opinion, it is expedient
to implement the project activity in the format “50х50”, when 50 % of the lectures students combine with
50 % of the practical application of the theory in the projects.
Thus, the study of the subject “Pedagogy” by second-year students of the specialty “Ukrainian Philology”
of the Institute of Philology of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University initiated the project “Children’s smile”, which
is aimed at promoting the society unique educational experience of outstanding teacher-humanist Vasyl
Sukhomlynskyi, study of his literary heritage to modernize his works and bring the content to modern little
readers and their parents without changing original author’s idea.
While writing and discussing the author’s versions of fairy tales, children will be taught to express their own
opinion, successfully argue for it in front of an audience of peers, analyse the experience of relationships
in the family, form their own worldview on the basis of read works. In the course of informal events, students
will develop creativity, critical thinking, mental flexibility, get practical experience of communication
with the younger generation Z. Preparation and performance of educational activities will be basis
for the relationship between people, awareness of love, friendship, joy, sadness, deception, anger, set simple
and clear examples.
